Lifeline Darling Downs receives donation

Each year, the Power Tynan Charitable Trust donates to a charity in both Stanthorpe and Toowoomba in time for Christmas. For 2013, the charities selected were Granite Belt Support Services and Lifeline Darling Downs & South West Queensland Ltd.

For Christmas, the Morgans Charitable Trust matched our $2,500 for each charity, so we were able to present each charity with $5,000. The presentation to Granite Belt Support Services was made on Thursday 12th December at the Power Tynan Client Drinks held at Artworks on Davadi, while the presentation to Lifeline Darling Downs was made on Friday 13th December at the Christmas Wonderland of Lights held in Toowoomba’s Botanical Gardens, with many staff of Power Tynan volunteering at the event.

Granite Belt Support Services

Thanks once again to all staff for their ongoing support of the Charitable Trust; without their generosity, we wouldn’t be able to assist the local charities to the extent we do now.

If you would like to donate to the Charitable Trust, or nominate a charity to be a beneficiary of the Trust, please contact our office.
