Each year, St Vincent de Paul Society runs an appeal to assist those who are experiencing disadvantage at Christmas time, which is approximately 1.3 million people Australia-wide.
In support of this fantastic initiative, the Power Tynan Charitable Trust presented Kerry Ryan of St Vincent de Paul Society Stanthorpe with a cheque for $1,500.
"This donation will go towards preparing Christmas hampers for families in need within our region", said Kerry. "We will deliver close to 40 of these hampers in Stanthorpe alone."
The Power Tynan Charitable Trust has donated over $150,000 since its inception in 2010, and is open to the firm's staff, clients and all members of the public to contribute funds.
