Heather Ferguson is a dedicated Management Accountant with a Bachelor of Business and Commerce, majoring in Accounting and Business Law, from USQ Toowoomba. With a background rooted in meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a growth mindset, Heather brings expertise and empathy to helping clients achieve their business goals.
Starting her career in accounting at just 21 after moving to Brisbane from Country NSW, Heather quickly realized her passion for the field. Over the years, she worked her way up through certifications in bookkeeping, diplomas, and ultimately completed her degree in 2023. For Heather, accounting is more than just numbers—it’s about making a meaningful impact through financial clarity. She takes an empathetic and client-centric approach, aiming to fully understand each client’s unique needs and treating their accounts as if they were her own.
What Heather loves most is the opportunity to make a difference in people’s lives. While her talent for numbers is a driving force, it’s the ability to add tangible value to clients’ businesses that brings her the greatest joy.
When not working, Heather enjoys spending quality time with her family, gardening, cooking, exploring interior design, and attending vintage car shows—a passion she shares with her dad, with whom she recently restored a 1969 XW Falcon. She also has a love for music, travel, and computer games, with a European vacation sitting at the top of her bucket list.
Heather values teamwork, passion, and commitment, and she’s proud to be part of a supportive organization like Power Tynan that truly values its people. With a strategic focus and a client-first approach, Heather strives to combine professionalism and empathy to help clients achieve long-term success, all while embodying the values of trust, reliability, integrity, and knowledge.
