Christmas Initiatives – Adopt a Family and St Josephs
As in previous years, the Power Tynan team supported local initiatives to assist those less fortunate at Christmas time.
In Stanthorpe, we participated in the St Vinnies Christmas Appeal via St Joseph's School Stanthorpe. We put together a basket of non-perishable food and hygiene items, and it was presented to the school at the end of November.
In Toowoomba, we once again adopted a family via Lifeline Darling Downs & South West Qld Ltd and The Chronicle. We put together two hampers packed full of goodies, which were delivered to Lifeline mid-December.
Baby News
Congratulations to Chelsea Vedelago and her husband Kurt on the December arrival of their new baby boy, Hugh McCawley Vedelago, weighing in at 7lb 2oz.
Christmas Wonderland
Keeping up our annual tradition, the Power Tynan team volunteered at the Toowoomba Christmas Wonderland in December.
This event has been running for 15 years, and gives the whole community the chance to experience the joy and wonder of Christmas.
The funds raised via Christmas Wonderland supports three major local beneficiaries - Lifeline Darling Downs & South West Qld Ltd, Toowoomba Hospital Foundation and Toowoomba Hospice.
