A few of our staff members have recently celebrated their Power Tynan anniversaries. Andrew Crestani and Brooke Shatte have been with the firm for five years, while Brad Hancock and Toni Jackson celebrated ten years with Power Tynan.

   The Scholarship Program was a fantastic opportunity, and I was lucky enough to be successful.

   Power Tynan has a great team culture and provides an enthusiastic environment to work in.

Brad Hancock

1. Why did you apply for a job at Power Tynan?
   After I left school I was actively involved in sport and was pursuing that as a career, however that changed and it was time for me to look for other opportunities, and Power Tynan was it.

   The people at Power Tynan really make the place. I love working in a fast paced environment with clients as our number one priority.

Toni Jackson

1. Why did you apply for a job at Power Tynan?
   My boyfriend (now husband) had moved to Stanthorpe the year prior, and after 12 months of a long distance relationship, we decided that one of us had to move…that ended up being me!

   I enjoy the work, but really love the people I work with and working in a small community.

Brooke Shatte

1. Education
   I attended St Joseph’s School Stanthorpe for both Primary and Secondary. I have completed a Bachelor of Commerce (majoring in Accounting) at USQ and am currently studying CPA.

1. Hobbies & Interests
   After purchasing a house with my partner, my hobbies of late have included renovating and spending time in the garden. My other hobby is playing Ladies League Tag for the Stanthorpe Gremlinettes.

1. When did you start working at Power Tynan?
   I started working at Power Tynan on the 1st February 2010 – my first year out of high school.

1. Why did you apply for a job at Power Tynan?
   In my final year at school, I did a week’s worth of work experience at Power Tynan and enjoyed it thoroughly as I had a brief exposure to the diverse services the firm offers. Then, upon hearing of the scholarship program, I had an interview with Amanda and Gilda and expressed my interests in working for the firm and studying accounting part time. Although I did not take the scholarship program, I was successful in applying for a job in the Stanthorpe office.

1. Why do you enjoy working at Power Tynan?
   I enjoy working with a team of motivated and friendly people who support and encourage me both professionally and personally. I also enjoy being able to build relationships with clients and being able to help and guide them through their tax obligations.
