- To support businesses to upgrade or replace inefficient equipment to improve their energy efficiency.
- Grants from $10,000 to $25,000 to cover up to 100% of eligible project expenditure.
- Small and medium businesses with a headcount of 1 to 199 employees.
- Eligible entity types: entity incorporated in Australia; a partnership; a sole trader.
- Closing Date: Wednesday 19 April 2023.
Projects may include the following activities with a minimum spend of $10,000:
- An energy audit of part or all of your site.
- Design and installation of energy efficient equipment, including electrical work.
- Measuring, monitoring and recording energy usage.
- The commissioning or tuning of equipment installed.
It is important to note that you will require permission from the owner of the project location, if the entity is not the owner of the project location.
There is a total pool of $16million available and applications are being address on first come, first served basis. Funding is distributed between states and territories based on the distribution of businesses across Australia. Grants for TAS and ACT have already been exhausted.
