9 Day Fortnight at Power Tynan
In February 2022, Power Tynan introduced a 9 Day Fortnight for full-time team members.
We all lead full lives. That is why Power Tynan took action to assist the team to improve the balance between their work and personal lives, increase efficiency and productivity, and show that we are all valued. We want to be our team members Employer of Choice at all times!
Prior to implementing the 9 day fortnight we worked collaboratively with team members regarding what we need to stop, start or change to ensure it has a positive impact for team members i.e. reduce the number of internal meetings and review attendees required for each meeting.
The 9 day fortnight is an extension of our existing Flex policy, rather than an RDO. The two rules we live by are: don’t let a client down, and don’t let a team mate down.
Feedback from our team members has been overwhelmingly positive and we enjoy sharing stories within the office on what we did or achieved on our “day off”!
