Meet Bonny Burke, our Chief Financial Officer and ESG Lead for Power Tynan, with over 15 years’ experience in financial management and sustainable business development. Her experience spans a variety of industries, including professional services, waste-to-energy, manufacturing, engineering, education, health, and real estate. Bonny’s qualifications include a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) from UniSQ, CPA designation and an MBA (Innovation) from Deakin.
Bonny plays a key role within Power Tynan as head of the Risk and Opportunity Committee. She also actively participates in the community, having served on local not-for-profit boards and committees.
Bonny was adamant in her early adult years that a career in finance wasn’t for her, seemingly too boring. This quickly turned around after discovering how engaging and dynamic business management and reporting can be. Her career kicked off in public practice before moving into management accounting and financial management. In recent years, her expertise has extended into sustainability reporting and carbon accounting, showcasing her commitment to holistic business improvement.
Outside of the office, Bonny enjoys spending time with family, friends and in the garden. She is always planning her next project around the house.
Bonny values the PT Team’s collaborative culture that continually seeks to innovate and develop the business along with all members of the team.
